We have a very simple set of team rules for the San Ramon Valley Cross Country Program. To be part of our program you and your parents must agree to the following:

• Practices-If you miss a practice, you miss a meet. If you miss a second practice, you miss another meet. If you miss a third practice you are dismissed from the team.

**Note: Obviously, life presents circumstances that athletics pales in comparisons. Such things as death and serious illness in the family will certainly not jeopardize a student-athlete’s status on the team. The key is communication. Communicate in writing (email, note, etc) of any possible missed practices with your coach before the practice date.

• Personal conduct- Participating in activities such as alcohol, tobacco, or other drug use, theft, cheating, or on/off-campus violence will result in the dismissal from the team.
